About Myself
I am 28 years old and live on the north side of Chicago. I am a nationally licensed Emergency Medical Technician. I work two days a week on the street in the ambulance, one day a week at Children's Memorial Hospital only transporting pediatric patients, and one day a week at an area hospital in the Intensive Care Unit. I am also a licensed instructor for the American Heart Association. I teach Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. I am a BLS Specialist for the Illinois Medical Emergency Responce Team. IMERT is a special state team designed to respond to and handle any type of mass casualty incident, including terrorist chemical or biological attacks. All of this and going to school keeps me very busy.
I am from Oklahoma originally. I relocated to the Chicago area in December 2002. I moved to Chicago to continue my education and experience the culture and diversity offered by the big city. As you can guess, it is a tremendous difference from Oklahoma.
